The End of Living and The Beginning of Survival

Is it true of what Chief Seattle said about this? Why did I say so myself?

 In my point of view, the quote "How can you buy or sell the sky, the warmth of the land?... The end of living and the beginning of survival" is true because nowadays, a lot of people in several countries such as Africa are living with the lack of food storage. Children suffer malnutrition because of the lack of food and they are weak. This does not apply only to children but to adults and the elderly people living in Africa. Unlike us, they don't know what is the meaning of comfort. We live in peace and comfort with super speed Internet, lots of food and the list goes on and on.

Let's take an example. Every day, the Palestine people are dying in the unsettled war with Israel. They are showered with a giant pool of blood and they are crying in terror. Why can't they live in peace? Isn't there anyone going to stop this war that took innocent people's lives? I keep wondering about that every day. Why isn't there anyone stopping it? Don't take it wrong. There are several parties are trying to stop this war from getting worse but their tactics seems to not work by any chance. As a human being, I don't like seeing people suffering in tragic pain and what I hate the most, why do they want to start the war in the first place? Can't they just deal this in peace. War is not going to solve anything. War causes damage and innocent people dying in pain. If I am correct, last year there was a terrorist attack in America and a kid or maybe a teenager had a firearm with him/her. I don't understand how they let that person to have the firearm.

I guess I should stop here before I start writing even more nonsense. So... overall, Chief Seattle's quote above is true because a number of people had to survive with shortage of nutrients and living in pain and despair. They are brave to live such situations and I really salute them. If I was in one of their shoes, I don't think I can handle it. They have a strong heart and will to continue living despite having a lot of disadvantages.
