2018 Road Run

Hello and I'm back with a new topic... Road Run!

My school road run was awesome and surprisingly it finished earlier than expected. The students, teachers and parents joined forces to participate in this annual event held by the school. I had fun that time but I don't even run on that day. I didn't participate for running because I was in charge along with my juniors from St. John Ambulance at one of the stations. We were in duty to make sure everything went smoothly and prevent injuries.

In the morning, I have to take attendance for my class and in the most embarrassing moment, I forgot my pen but everything's all settled after that. I left along with the squad members to get ourselves ready to do our duty. We checked if everything's good and complete and we left to our respective stations. My station was very far but it is quite good because my juniors and I looked at all the houses and a dog greeted us, which made us shocked.

Here's the painful part. We have to wait for a long time for the contestants to arrive. So, to prevent boredom from happening, we talked about lots of random things. We get to know each other and surprisingly, I was the eldest one out of the three of us. When we saw the runners coming, we got ourselves prepared if anything happens. We gave some of the runners water because they look extremely tired and some of them wanted water and took it away. We're lucky that no one was injured because if there is, it is either a small cut or a serious injury.

After a few hours, we packed our things and left the spot. I saw my other teammates from afar and all of us tagged to go back to school. Honestly, my feet nearly killed me because it was extremely tiring but I am happy that I managed to contribute for the school's event and I also gain some extra credit for community service card. After we arrived, we get to eat bihun as our meal. It was so delicious along with the fried egg and chicken. This makes me excited for next year's road run.
