A Momentous Moment in the History of Malaysia

Image
You see the picture above. That is what I going to talk about today. Malaysia has a lot of momentous moments in the country's history. From the country's first independence day till the GE-14 election and soon to come. There are a lot of momentous moments to choose from but I decide to talk about what the nations are talking about now, that is the 14th General Election that was held on 9th May 2018 in Malaysia. Barisan Nasional had ruled Malaysia for 60 years and this year, there is an awesome change. For the first time in the history of Malaysia, Pakatan Harapan won the general election, winning 121 chairs our of 222 chairs in the Parliament, thus creating a new government ruled by Pakatan. This time, our current Prime Minister is the one and only Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad who had became the 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia for 22 years and 107 days, from year 1981 till 2003. Now, our current Prime Minister has made his comeback to the nation and promises to make ever...

Teacher's Day!!

Image
4th May 2018 was my school's Teacher's Day. Overall, it was quite a good experience since it is a memorable day to our teachers. I actually auditioned to perform for this awesome day but I didn't pass and to be honest, I am the only one who didn't even perform. I am not even mad about it, though. Okay, let's get to the real topic. That morning, the students assemble as usual and the good thing is... we don't even need to bring our own bag to school! Long short story, in the morning the teachers played games organised by the prefects and students played the games organised by some classes. The others, including me, sat at the school's pavillion and watch the fun. After we had our recess, we assemble at the hall to watch performances by the students. I enjoyed my friends' performances and I really wanted to scream and cheer but because I have a sore throat, I can only clap. This year's performance line-up was great and to be honest, I enjo...

What WIll Teenagers be in 100 Years?

Image
What will Teenagers be in 100 Years? This is honestly a hard topic for me to explain because I didn't even think about it myself. I can't imagine what will teenagers be in the next 100 years. Now we are in the 21st century and as we know, the presence of technology has changed our lives. First of all, teenagers nowadays can either be: Successful leaders in the future to lead a country A group of people who might give a bad image to a country Nowadays, crimes are committed by youngsters such as consuming drugs, vandalisme and more. This is a bad example teenagers had portrayed and may ruin the country's reputation. I did not say all teengaers do such thing. Only a number of teenagers did such thing to satisfy themselves without thinking the consequences of doing such thing. Wi-fi, Internet, notebooks, smartphones. They're like everywhere now. It is like an essential item to communicate with people all around the world. Not only that, every informat...

How do I Feel After ULBS?

Image
Hello everyone! I am here today to talk about my first English ULBS. So, I was one of the last people to present the story. For days I had waited and seriously, my fingertips went cold because of nervousness. So, here is how it goes. When it was my turn, I walked in front and told about the story. Starting from the synopsis till the impact and who do I recommend the book to. So, are you curious about this story? The Girl with Red Ribbon Hair Band written by Scarlet Elizabeth Kang or better known as IGOT7JustRight tells about a young boy who suffered dyslexia, that is Lee Daeyeol, wants to be friends with the superior bully of Woollim High, Ko Hyun-kyung. Despite getting hurt lots of times and some of Hyun-kyung's attacks went overboard, Daeyeol still want to be her friend because he knows that she has a soft side. She always wear her hair band to school since young because it is a present from her brother before he died a few years later. Daeyeol is curious about h...

Free Topic: My Strange Girlfriend (WANNA ONE FANFIC)

Image
A beautiful snow white ragdoll cat is walking around the city of Seoul one summer day. Its fur is extremely soft and its eyes are unique. The left side is blue in colour while the right side is brown. It doesn't have a collar and now, the cat is walking by itself. Sounds of the cat meowing is too adorable. The cat is picked up by a gang of juveniles and one of them said, "This cat is disgusting." The cat purrs and the second male takes it before saying, "I'm going to kill you, little kitten." The cat seems to understand what they were saying. Its claws appear and it scratches the juvenile's arms and face. They are screaming and two boys knock the juvenile's heads from behind. The cat is being released and its claws quickly stay hidden. It jumps on one of the boy's arms and it kisses the cat. They walk away from the juvenile and the cat purrs as the boy smiles at it. He said, "Jinyoung, I am going to ask Jisung whether I can keep th...

Activities Happened on Minggu Membaca

Image
Minggu Membaca was held at my school for three days. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This time, the activities were fun and I have some suggestions on how to improve the activities for minggu membaca. Tuesday: During the 11th period, the papers arrived. I was thinking. What are those? It is revealed to be a game called crossword puzzle. Something like that. Honestly, I was good at this but now I am bad at it. It was Biology that time so we spent one period just to solve the crossword puzzle. It is a bit tough and it was surprisingly quiet. Everyone was so determined to solve the crossword puzzle quick. At the end, most of us didn't complete it but only 17 people managed to complete the puzzle. Wednesday: Hangman time! We created two teams and I was in team 4 Bel. The questions were hard but our team managed to gain more points than team 4 Belian. It was fun and I learned a lot of things in the quiz and when I heard some of the questions that were my favourite such as...

What I Had Learned on How My Efforts will Contribute to My Exam Marks

Image
Hello everyone. Today I am writing about what I had learned on how my efforts will contribute to my exams. In my other post, I wrote about my English marks. So, this is like the continuation of that topic. So, I received my examination papers and I achieved good marks, and some of it are not so good. Overall, I am  satisfied with my results but I need to improve a lot more. I have to improve a lot especially the elective subjects. I failed my Add Maths and now I know what I had done wrong and I am going to make sure that is not going to happen. Chemistry, the reason I failed Chemistry because I didn't study that subject. I should had studied earlier. I studied last minute for that subject and the results hit me to reality. Knowledge doesn't come from our food or anything. Even if I fingertip, knowledge won't appear just like that. I realised that I should had studied earlier and cut off some activities that drives me away from studying and also my mindset. I keep s...

How do I Feel About my English Marks?

Image
Can you hear that? That is the sound of me sighing for my examination marks. My English examination marks to be exact. I did well for my exams but my marks is average. It was between 60 to 70. I was wondering, why did I get this much for my English paper? Turns out that I forgot to post my blogs weekly. Blogs contribute for my exam marks and because of that, my marks were average. I was disappointed a bit and it makes me learn my lesson. Blogging is a part of my English homework and because I didn't do it, therefore my marks are not that appealing. I have to improve my grammar, sentence structures and so on. I also need to add on idioms to make it more interesting. I know that my grammar is weak and basically, I am weak in English so I am trying my best to improve for my upcoming examinations. At least my English marks is not as worse as Chemistry, Biology and Additional Mathematics. Now I have a vision. My vision is so clear right now. I want to be the best for myself...

My #First Term Holiday

Image
Hello everyone! Today I am going to talk about... my 'boring' first term holiday. So, after the first term examinations were over, I spent my holiday at home. Yes. The whole week, I spent my holiday at home. It is quite boring spending the holidays at home but I managed to find something fun to do. The first day of first term holiday, I opened my AsianFanfics account and complete a total of five requests for my one shot collection. It is actually a  collection of short stories I created. So I spend most of my time completing them and at the same time, I also study on my breaks and do some homework. I also do the housework between my breaks and meals. 85% of my time is spent on writing fanfictions and studying. Second day. I completed all the requests and homework. I decided to open up Youtube and learn the choregraphies that I want to learn. I like to dance to boy group songs, and I really like dances from VIXX, NCT and Stray Kids. The above photo is Only U by VIXX...

My Most Memorable Sports' Day

Image
Sports' Day was amazing and memorable. Okay, let's get this started. My house colour at school is Kesatria, the yellow house. I joined for marching to represent Kesatria along with fellow seniors and juniors and also my friends. It is quite a while to remember all the formations, the moves and so on. We took a month and a half to practice if I am correct. I can't remember how many weeks we practiced but everything went out well. On the day itself, with all the delays and the runners got to compete first, the marching team had to wait until 2 pm for the running competition to end. We practiced one last time and waited quite a while to go to the field and calm ourselves before the actual thing began. We were nervous and my hands were sweating. The afternoon sun was indeed hot and I thought I will get roasted into a chicken. So, Kesatria marchers performed first and everyone was impressed with the formations. I especially like the X formation because it went so sm...

2018 Road Run

Image
Hello and I'm back with a new topic... Road Run! My school road run was awesome and surprisingly it finished earlier than expected. The students, teachers and parents joined forces to participate in this annual event held by the school. I had fun that time but I don't even run on that day. I didn't participate for running because I was in charge along with my juniors from St. John Ambulance at one of the stations. We were in duty to make sure everything went smoothly and prevent injuries. In the morning, I have to take attendance for my class and in the most embarrassing moment, I forgot my pen but everything's all settled after that. I left along with the squad members to get ourselves ready to do our duty. We checked if everything's good and complete and we left to our respective stations. My station was very far but it is quite good because my juniors and I looked at all the houses and a dog greeted us, which made us shocked. Here's the painf...

Festivals in Malaysia

Image
(I actually thought that they are going to dance to Super Junior's Black Suit because of the hands) "Selamat Hari Raya!" "Gong Xi Fa Cai!" "Happy Deepavali!" Malaysia is a country that has a diversity of race and religions. Whether you're a Malay, Chinese, Indian, Kadazan, Iban, you're still a Malaysia. Why? We born in Malaysia and we are all Malaysians despite having different backgrounds. We should be grateful that we live in peace and harmony in a multi racial country. So, why am I here in the first place? Ha! I am going to tell you about the festivals that are celebrated here in Malaysia. There are a lot of traditional festivals in Malaysia. This is quite special to our country because first of all, Malaysians get to come together and celebrate the festive season together and secondly, we got a lot of holidays. We can create and strengthen our friendship bond with others through this. What festivals are celebrated in ...

The End of Living and The Beginning of Survival

Image
Is it true of what Chief Seattle said about this? Why did I say so myself?  In my point of view, the quote "How can you buy or sell the sky, the warmth of the land?... The end of living and the beginning of survival" is true because nowadays, a lot of people in several countries such as Africa are living with the lack of food storage. Children suffer malnutrition because of the lack of food and they are weak. This does not apply only to children but to adults and the elderly people living in Africa. Unlike us, they don't know what is the meaning of comfort. We live in peace and comfort with super speed Internet, lots of food and the list goes on and on. Let's take an example. Every day, the Palestine people are dying in the unsettled war with Israel. They are showered with a giant pool of blood and they are crying in terror. Why can't they live in peace? Isn't there anyone going to stop this war that took innocent people's lives? I keep wo...
