    Hello everyone! I am back with another blog for today and as you can see, today's topic is kind of different than the usual because today we're going to talk about free topic. Yes, free topics.

    Speaking of free topics, I like it and at the same time, I don't really like it. Well, I have my reasons on why I love free topics and the reasons I abhor about it. You could say I'm in the middle which I was like okay with it and sometimes, not really okay with it. I'm just like that. I'm fine with it but at certain times, I don't even want to think about free topics.

    Why I love free topics? One of the reasons I love free topics is that I could talk about what I want to talk about without a prompt given. Everything that I want to talk about is typed without thinking of it as your mind has already prepare a prompt for the week. Writing free topics gives the freedom to express yourself in certain ways whether it is about your feelings, your experiences and so on. Besides that, no one cares less about format when it comes to writing free topics as you decide the flow of the blog post. Writing a free topic is like going on an unplanned trip. You tend to go places which you are curious even though it is not in your schedule. Sometimes, the places that you are curious of turns out a very interesting journey in the end which indeed has to be told to others. Like I said, life's a thriller, and so as free topics. You will explore different things to write in your blog posts and it will make you more knowledgable as you tend to search on some extra information of something to add the herbs and spices on your blogs. So, for me it is like killing two birds in one stone. Making yourself happy about the topic you decide to write, searching for new information that has yet to be discovered and making readers enthusiastic for the next blog.

    At the same time, I abhor free topics as it requires you to think of what to write for that. Some people have brilliant ideas to write for their blogs but others, they don't. I always come up with writer's block every time I want to write about free topic. Even searching on the Internet doesn't give me the idea on what to write and that is when prompt comes in. If a prompt or a clue is given for blogs each week, that will help students who have zero idea on what to put into their blogs a spark of inspiration and from there, they will elaborate their points. Prompt writing actually helps others including me to challenge to write something that is out of the norm. Something different, something unique. People are attracted to things that are different so sometimes with prompt writing, I find it as useful as free topic. Free topic doesn't make you go out from the box much as people including me tend to write something that we like instead of testing ourselves to write something different. That is why at times I dislike free topics.
