Chapter 11

"Chae-ryung..."

Jeonghan and the others looks at Chae-ryung, worried. Chae-ryung stands and asked, "What's wrong? Did I do anything wrong?"

"You're heart light up," Wonwoo said. Chae-ryung nods and asked, "So... what's wrong with that?"

"What?! Her heart lit up?! Are you crazy?" Soo Hyuk asked. Min-jae nods and said, "I heard the conversation."

Soo Hyuk enrages and throws his wand to the cold,  hard ground. The wand shatters into million pieces and punches the table. He said, "I need to get the power from her. I will STEAL HER POWERS AWAY!!"

"You'll never get to steal it because as the only sorcerer living in this school, you never get to control the monstrous power. It is like Jekyll and Hyde," Yoo-jung said.

Soo Hyuk chuckles before laughing wickedly. His eyes change into emerald colour and said, "Even though I am a sorcerer, weak and immature, I can control the powers. Can't you see how I changed Chanyeol into the triple-headed snake? His powers is in me and I am the King of all magic!"

"So, what do you want to do in order to get the power?" Soo Hyuk thinks and laughs out loud. He smirks and said, "Wicked Witch."

"So, just because my heart lit up it means that I had the strongest power among everyone?" Chae-ryung asked in disbelief when they all arrived at Chae-ryung's place. Haebin nods and Seungkwan said, "That's the point. You can control the other students' brains and turn them back to normal."

"Like?"

"Break the Brainwash spell," Suga replied. Minho said, "Besides, it is not a fantasy. It is a reality."

"But one bad intention can change everything. It is just like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," Jin said.

"So if I plan to kill someone for revenge, it will cause a huge disaster?" Chae-ryung asked. Hoshi shook his head and replied, "Not disaster but instead, you will die."

Chae-ryung nods and Baekhyun said, "My heart lit up too after Chae-ryung's heart lit up."

"Yeah..." Dino said. Woozi said, "That means Baekhyun is powerless. The Shadow Eagle is no more in Baekhyun. It is at Chae-ryung."

"What?!" Vernon nods. Chae-ryung asked, "How am I supposed to give back his powers?"

"Nope. You can't. In fact, you saved Baekhyun's life from danger," Taemin said. Joshua takes out a book and flips through the pages. He founds an empty page and said, "Guys, I borrow this book from the library and this page doesn't have any writing."

"What book is that?" Haebin asked. They all gather up to Joshua and The8 replied, "This is the 'Most Powerful and Fearful Sorcerers and Witches' book."

Mi-ran fingersnaps and said, "We can read the page if we had powers."

Chae-ryung saw Yoo-jung's name in the empty page and everything. Joshua is about to flip the page when Chae-ryung is reading. She grabs Joshua's hand and reads it. She said, "Wait..."

"Wait for what?" Minho asked. Chae-ryung reads the paragraph and said, "I saw some writing."

They all look at Chae-ryung and Chae-ryung reads, "Once upon a time, Strixes and Alphas were friends. They are known to be the most powerful clans. Strixes' popularity is lower than the Alphas and they were chosen as the immortals. The Alphas were mad since Strixes became immortals and the ruler of all clans. One day, the Head Alpha who is known as Lua, decided to attack the Strixes so they can be the ruler. Alphas killed Strixes with no mercy and some Strixes managed to get away. Alphas became the new ruler and everyone bow to them by force. Once the calm kingdom is destroyed, evil takes place. Alphas became heartless and no sense of humanity and because of that, Alphas start dying fast compared to Strixes. They drink Strixes' blood in order to survive the curse."

"That's a sad story," Jimin said. They all nod and Chae-ryung said, "That is why Yoo-jung asked everyone to find Strixes."

"How many Alphas are there in our school?" Seo-jun asked. Mi-ran replied, "Yoo-jung's the only one left. She hunts for Strixes every year and became immortal. Some of them got killed badly."

"Ouch," Mingyu replied. Jun stands and Chae-ryung asked, "But why Yoo-jung's name is inside this book?"

Jun walks around and asked, "Do you have a room that your parents never told you about?"

"Well... no. Why?" Jun walks to a wide, tall bookshelf and turns one of the books 30° angle. The shelf splits into half and they all stand with their mouths hanging. Jun walks through the secret passageway, curious on what is t about. Chae-ryung follows Jun and confessed, "I know about this!"

Jun stops walking and Chae-ryung looks down. She said, "Mom and Dad did told me about the secret passageway. They told me to not let anyone walk in."

Jun sighs and walks back to Chae-ryung. He said, "I can't believe you are good at lying."

"They forced me to lie and if they know that I told anyone, they'll kill me for sure!!" Jun is shocked and so as the others. He sighs and said, "All of you, go back home first. I have to talk with her first."

They all nod and Woozi said, "No. You go back home. I'll talk to her."

Jun smirks and said, "Too late, Woozi." Jun presses a button at the wall and the bookshelves connects back together. Chae-ryung breathes heavily and Jun asked, "Do you know everything?"

Chae-ryung nods and looks down. Jun said, "Tell me everything you know."

Meanwhile, Woozi is panicking and walks back and forth. They all are still at Chae-ryung's house. Seo-jun said, "I don't think Jun will hurt Chae-ryung."

"I know but I am just... I am... just..."

"Scared? Worried?" Haebin said. Woozi nods and Jeonghan said, "You're in love."

Woozi's eyes widened and shook his head, "No! I am not in love!"

"Don't deny it, hyung," Dino said. Jimin decides to tease Woozi even more. He asked, "What if Jun and Chae-ryung are doing something in there? Huh, huh?"

"I WON'T LET ANYONE DO ANYTHING TO HER!!" They all laugh and Jonghyun said, "You're jealous."

"I am not!"

"Yes you are!"

"I am not!" The argument continues and the house is very loud now. Jun and Chae-ryung walk out from the passageway and Chae-ryung sighs. She said, "Tomorrow, all of you come here."

Chapter 12

"Where are we?" Yoo-jung asked while hugging Soo Hyuk's arm. They are in a forest and Soo Hyuk looks around. Min-jae groans and complains, "Where does the Wicked Witch lived? Her house is too hard to find."

"Can you just SHUT UP FOR A MOMENT?!" Soo Hyuk is mad and looks around. He takes a deep breath and said, "Ánodos kai lámpsi prépei na po, Pénte stoicheía gínetai éna, Gis kai tou ouranoú kai tis thálassas kai tou chórou, Deíxe mou to drómo pros tin Kakiá Mágissa!!"

Dark magic comes out from Soo Hyuk's body and his eyes turns into red. His teeth becomes sharp and the wind blows at him. Yoo-jung and Min-jae are scared and Yoo-jung stands away from Soo Hyuk.

"Poios eínai o skopós sas gia na deíte tin pio ischyrí mágissa pou ézise gia 5 000 chrónia?" Yoo-jung asked, "So? What did the Wind said? Why do they talk in Greek?"

"It is called 'Spiritual Agreement'. Better don't know the meaning or else, bad things will occur," Soo Hyuk said. "I Strix eínai zontanós. Den eínai mia synithisméni Strix allá i megalýteri epirroí Strix. O ischyrós Strix."

"TI?! AUTO EINAI TRELO! EINAI ADYNATO. OCHI Strix boreí na nikísei to ALPHA!" The Wind enraged. Soo Hyuk changes back to normal and said, "Dýnami Strix eínai tóso ischyrí óso to kalýtero mágo stin Anatolí. Oi exousíes tis Dýsis Mágou den boreí na nikísei dýnami aftís tis gynaíkas."

The wind blows slowly. "You are welcome to see Wicked Witch." "Thank you," Soo Hyuk replied. A portal is open and the three of them enter the portal to see Wicked Witch.

Nighttime. Chae-ryung gets up from her bed and walks out from her bedroom. She walks down and suddenly, sounds of glass shattering can be heard. Chae-ryung turns on the lights and Chanyeol awkwardly laughs. Chae-ryung shook her head and walks to take a broom. She comes back and sweeps the glass.

"Sorry, Chae-ryung," Chanyeol apologised. Chae-ryung chuckles and replied, "It's okay."

Chae-ryung throws the shattered glass at the bin and asked, "Why aren't you asleep?"

"I was thirsty." Chae-ryung nods and walks to the bookshelf. She did what Jun did and the passageway is revealed. She walks in and Chanyeol runs to catch her. He fails to do so and asks himself, "Why does Chae-ryung go there?"

Chae-ryung walks and the torches light up as she walks. She saw a table and a crystal ball. She sits at a chair and said, "Crystal Ball, show me the way to Angel Island."

The crystal ball becomes cloudy and Chae-ryung saw the route to Angel Island. She said, "Thank you." Chae-ryung stands and walks downstairs. She senses something fishy happening upstairs. She quickly runs upstairs and leaves the passageway. She gasps as she saw Haebin, Baekhyun and Chanyeol are floating. She asked, "What happened?!"

"W... Wicked With is here," Baekhyun replied. Chae-ryung uses her mind and avoids the Wicked Witch's attack. She asked, "Why does that Wicked Witch here?"

Wicked Witch appears with Soo Hyuk, Yoo-jung and Min-jae. Chae-ryung scowls and said, "You."

Soo Hyuk nods and smirks. He walks to Chae-ryung and Haebin shouts, "Don't hurt her!"

Soo Hyuk roll his eyes and said, "Change your clothes. We need to agree on something."

"About what?" Soo Hyuk gives a red file to Chae-ryung and Chae-ryung opens it. She reads and Soo Hyuk said, "This is a confidential agreement. Only you and I can read this."

Chae-ryung sighs and said, "Let's talk upstairs instead."

Chae-ryung walks upstairs, followed by Soo Hyuk. Baekhyun gives a deadly stare to Min-jae and said, "This must be one of your tricks."

Yoo-jung raises a finger up and said, "Nope. It is not."

"I don't believe you." Yoo-jung ignores and Wicked Witch tries to open the passageway. She said, "This door won't open."

The next day, Chae-ryung walks to class. She sits and looks tense. She thought in her brain, 'Why does he want me to sign the agreement? Does he know that my heart lit up? Is that the reason he called Wicked Witch? Does he want the power so badly even though it may affect him? Wait... how could I know all of this?'

"You have two souls. Go Chae-ryung and me, Alexa. I got inside you so I can have my revenge towards Lua."

'Why don't you fight her yourself? Why do you must go inside of me? Am I that special to be chosen?'

"I chose you because I know, you can bring everything back to normal. Besides, I had been inside you since the first day you are welcome here,. Lua chose Soo Hyuk because she thinks that Soo Hyuk can use people's minds for his self needs."

'I thought Yoo-jung is...'

"Lua then chose Yoo-jung after two years. She knows that Yoo-jung is the most suitable weapon to launch her attack."

Woozi pokes Chae-ryung's side and Chae-ryung flinches. She looks at Woozi and asked, "What?"

"You're spacing out," Jeonghan said, worried. Haebin puts a hand at Chae-ryung's shoulder and asked, "What's wrong?"

"Too bad The8 can't read your mind," Mingyu said. Wonwoo said, "We can ask Luhan."

"Don't you remember? He is in the stereotype," Seungkwan recalled.

Chae-ryung stares at the ceiling. She is thinking deeply. She thought, 'If Alexa chose me and Lua chose Yoo-jung, those two will fight. If they had an argument, they got themselves injured.'

"What are we supposed to do?" Seo-jun asked.

"If Lua and Alexa fought each other, what is the cause of the argument?" Chae-ryung accidently said it loud enough for the squad to hear. Dino asked, "What are you talking about?"

"If they fought because of the clan popularity, they should at least be nice to each other. Alphas were stubborn and quite stingy."

"Go Chae-ryung, what are you talking about?" Joshua asked. Chae-ryung closes her eyes and a tear slip from her eyelid. She is trying her best to at least, contact Alexa herself. She breathes in and out and saw everything.

♢Flashback♢

"Alexa! Let's go somewhere," Lua said to Alexa who was busy with all those agreements. Alexa nods and said, "I'll be there in a minute."

Lua walked outside the castle and her throat felt dry. She said, "I need it now..."

Alexa walks out and closes the door. She walks to Lua and said, "Let's go."

The two of them walk deeper in the forest. Lua lead the way and Alexa asked, "Where are we going?"

"Hold on. We are almost there," Lua replied. She stopped by at the flat land uphill followed by Alexa. Alexa sat at a giant rock and asked, "What is it?"

"Let's play hide and seek." Alexa nodded and shut her eyes. She counted and Lua ran. She took out a knife and turned herself invisible. She tip-toed to Alexa and she was in front of her. She said, "I hate you so much."

Lua stabbed Alexa at the heart and Alexa was shocked. She screamed in pain and she can't see Lua. Lua took the knife off Alexa and showed herself. Alexa was surprised and betrayed. She said, "You... you are a... murderer."

"Yes I am and I make sure that I will rule this land after I get rid of you and your clan." Lua stabbed Alexa again and dug a hole. She throwed Alexa into the ground and buried her. She laughed evilly and said, "One done. Forty-nine to go."

After a few years, Alexa's soul was raised and she saw little Chae-ryung who was just born. Alexa stands next to little Chae-ryung and played with her. Little Chae-ryung opened her eyes and giggled. Alexa smiled and said, "I know what to name you."

Alexa hold little Chae-ryung's hand and said, "Clarice. You are Clarice. Your real name is Clarice. Whatever your parents named you, always remember that your name is Clarice."

Little Chae-ryung giggled when Alexa tickled her. Alexa breathes in and said, "Pnévma, meínete krymména stin kardiá aftoú tou koritsioú."

Chae-ryung open her eyes widely and gasps. She breathes heavily and Mi-ran asked, "Are you alright?"

Chae-ryung looks at them and said, "Clarice."

"Who are you thinking about?" DK asked. Chae-ryung said, "You were killed by her."

"Who?" S. Coups asked. Chae-ryung gets the idea and said, "There is something behind the story."

Chapter 13

After school, Chae-ryung and her friends go to Chae-ryung's house. Chae-ryung sighs heavily and sits at the couch. "Why is this so stressful?" Chae-ryung complained.

"I don't know myself," Mi-ran replied.

"About what? Who is Alexa and Clarice you just talked about?" Jeonghan asked. Jimin drinks a cup of tea and everyone are wondering what did Chae-ryung was talking about the whole day. Chae-ryung sighs and replied, "I just discovered that another soul is living inside me and also Yoo-jung."

"Um... what does that mean?" Jin asked. Chae-ryung replied with a question, "Do you know the name Lua?"

"The Head Alpha. Why?" Chae-ryung shook her head and replied, "Well..."

A maid then walks to Chae-ryung. She bows and said, "Miss, he is here."

Chae-ryung nods and said, "Let him in first. I need to change my clothes." The maid bows and walks away. Chae-ryung said, "You guys go back first."

"Who is he?" Woozi asked. They can hear the sound of jealousy in Woozi. Chae-ryung replied, "My chingu."

A boy who is a few years older than Chae-ryung, walks to Chae-ryung and they bow. The boy smiles and said, "It's nice to see you again, Miss Go Chae-ryung."

Chae-ryung nods and said, "You too, Mr. Chae Hyungwon." They laugh and Chae-ryung asked, "What brings you here?"

Hyungwon gives a blue file to Chae-ryung and said, "That is all the costs for the new..."

"Ah! Let's talk upstairs." Hyungwon nods and they walk upstairs. The others look at them and S. Coups said, "Hyungwon's here."

"I know," Joshua said. DK said, "He is not in the stereotype."

"Why are we starting to feel uncomfortable?" Woozi asked. They all look at Woozi and Suga said, "You're the only one who is uncomfortable with that."

"See? That proves on how jealous you are, hyung," Dino teased. Woozi shook his head and Haebin asked, "But why he is here by the way?"

"Business, I think," Seo-jun replied.

"So, this is the amount of money that is needed for the new planetarium," Hyungwon said while adjusting his round glasses. Chae-ryung nods and said, "Thank you for helping me."

"No problem. By the way, why didn't you tell me that you have guests?" Chae-ryung scratches her neck in embarrassment and replied, "I forgot."

"It's okay. Um... did I just saw Jihoon feeling jealous?"

"W... what do you m... mean?" Hyungwon chuckles and stands. He said, "Nevermind."

Chae-ryung stands and they leave the study room. They walk down and Hyungwon leaves the house. Chae-ryung closes the door and looks behind. They all look at Chae-ryung and Chae-ryung said, "You're still here."

"Why is he here just now?" Dino asked. Chae-ryung replied, "Something important."

"Does he always come here before you transfer to Gold Wing High?" Woozi asked, curious. Chae-ryung's eyes widened and asked, "W... why do you ask t... that? Is something w... wrong?"

"It is nothing. He is just curious," The8 covered Woozi up. Chae-ryung nods awkwardly and quickly runs upstairs. Mingyu asked, "Why did Chae-ryung got flustered just now?"

"I don't know," Haebin replied. Vernon walks to the kitchen and opens the refrigerator. He said, "That is lots of food."

"FOOD?!" Seventeen run to the kitchen and they take out the food they want to eat. They cook all the food they can find and eat. Haebin, Seo-jun and the others join them along. Chae-ryung walk downstairs with some shopping bags and smell something delicious. She walks to the kitchen and chuckles for the amusing sight. They all are eating and some are playing with their food. She clears her throat and said, "I need to do grocery shopping first."

Woozi gets up from his seat and walks to Chae-ryung. He said, "I'll follow you."

"T... thanks." They walk out from the house and go to the supermarket. The weather is a bit chilly and Chae-ryung is feeling cold, even though she wears a coat. Woozi takes off his coat and puts the coat on Chae-ryung. Chae-ryung looks at him and Woozi said, "You're cold."

Chae-ryung nods and Woozi holds Chae-ryung's hand. Their fingers intertwined awkwardly and Woozi said, "Chae-ryung ah... I just want to s... say..."

Chae-ryung look at Woozi and saw his ears turning into a light shade of pink. She said, "Your ears are red."

Woozi looks away and they stop walking. Chae-ryung asked, "Is something wrong?"

Woozi looks at Chae-ryung and replied, "N... nothing."

"Are you sure?" Woozi nods. They continue walking and awkwardness fills up the space.

"T... thanks for the jacket, Jihoon," Chae-ryung said as they arrive at Chae-ryung's house. The friends are watching them from inside. Woozi nods and said, "It's no big deal."

Then, snow starts to fall. They look up and Woozi catches a snowflake with his tongue. Chae-ryung did the same and Woozi pokes her side. Chae-ryung puts her stuff down and chases Woozi. Sounds of squealing and laughter can be heard. Haebin said while watching the two from inside, "I want to play the snow."

The8 said, "First to go out to play the snow wins." They all run and the maid brings the grocery inside the house. They all run around and manage to spy Woozi and Chae-ryung. The two of them fall to the ground and Woozi is on top of Chae-ryung. They laugh and said, "That was fun."

Chae-ryung and Woozi made eye contact and they stare at each other's eyes. They breathe heavily and the friends hide at a corner to see what happens next. Woozi runs his fine fingers through Chae-ryung's silky hair and said, "This is a bit awkward."

Chae-ryung nods and Woozi sits properly. He pulls Chae-ryung up and it is a little too hard. Chae-ryung did got up and because of the strong force Woozi used, Chae-ryung moves in front and their lips touch one another. Their first kiss is unpredictable and their eyes widened in shock.

"OHMYGAWD!! MY HEARTU CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!" Vernon shouts and they cover Vernon's mouth. Woozi and Chae-ryung break the kiss and blink a few times. Redness creep at their pale cheeks and they said at the same time, "I'm sorry. What? I'm the one who is supposed to apologised to you."

They laugh awkwardly and Chae-ryung hugs Woozi. She rests her head at Woozi's shoulder and said, "I like you, Jihoon. I really like you."

Chapter 14

The next day, Chae-ryung, Haebin and Mi-ran are discussing something at Mi-ran's apartment. It is just a small space but it is worth it. Mi-ran asked, "So, what are we supposed to perform? It is less than a week to think of a performance for the Talent Show."

"I am not sure myself," Haebin said. Chae-ryung thinks about it and asked, "What do you girls like best?"

"Haebin likes to sing. That is why she joined Gugudan. I, on the other hand, prefer to talk a lot."

"She speaks so fast and every point is useful during business classes. She is tone deaf but I warn you. Don't mess with her points or else, she will do it back to you." Chae-ryung nods and said, "I usually compose songs."

"Daebak!!" The girls said at the same time. Chae-ryung asked, "What's what?"

"Chae-ryung, you compose a song. Me and Mi-ran will perform. Mi-ran will rap while I sing. Is that okay?"

"That's good!" Mi-ran squealed. She claps and said, "Let's do this, team!"

Meanwhile, Seventeen members are thinking of something. S. Coups asked, "What should we do?"

"Perform," Seungkwan replied.

"I know but perform what?"

"Everyday you’re all up in my head, neon dalkomhage naui nune ttuine, yeah an jiwojine, jigeum nega deuleogan, nae dunoeneun yongryang chogwa, bumbum," Vernon rapped. Dino said, "We perform our new song. How's that?"

"Fine," The8 replied.

"I completely agree with you!" Mingyu shouted.

"So am I! Well, not really but yeah!" Hoshi said.

Then, there is a knock. Woozi gets up and walks to the door. He opens the door and it is the one and only, Grim Reaper. Point: I just simply add this after watching Goblin, and the Grim Reaper is Lee Dong Wook! Woozi asked, "W... what br... brings you h... here, m... mister?"

“There is no life that deserves to die," Grim Reaper replied. Woozi blinks a few times before collapsing to the ground. S. Coups runs to Woozi and said, "Wake up, Jihoon."

Woozi wakes up and looks around. He sits properly and his head feels dizzy. Grim Reaper looks at Woozi and Woozi said, "Don't take my soul."

"Why would I take your soul? I came here not to take anyone's souls," Grim Reaper replied bluntly. Woozi sits properly and asked, "Why are you here?"

"Do you know the spirit, Clarice?" Woozi shook his head and asked, "Why do you ask that?"

"Two souls in a person may kill the owner of the body itself. The other spirit needs to die in peace in order to protect the other spirit."

"O... ok... okay..." S. Coups's phone rings and he answers the phone call. He nods and walks outside. Woozi said, "So you come here to find the spirit."

"More less," Grim Reaper replied boredly. Woozi gets off from bed and asked, "Does he or she had a Korean name?"

"Go Chae-ryung. That is what it writtens in this letter," Grim Reaper replied. Woozi frozened as he heard Chae-ryung's name. He mumbles to himself, "So that means Clarice is Chae-ryung."

"You know her?" Woozi looks behind, shocked. He said, "Don't kill her. Please."

"I am going to take out the other soul out from her."

"Then why do you refer Chae-ryung as a spirit?"

"Then what should I call her? Human? She is a human but with powers. God? No way!"

"She is a living soul!" Grim Reaper stands and said, "Whatever. Just bring me to her."

"Tell me the purpose of your visit, then I will bring you to her."

“I know it’s impossible but I dreamed of a happy ending.”

Chae-ryung, on the other hand, is watering the flowers at her garden. She wears a pink dress that reaches to her knees and pink slippers. Her pink rose that is at her ear matches her clothes, making her look innocent and young. Woozi comes out with Grim Reaper and Chae-ryung looks up. She waves at Woozi and said, "Annyeong Jihoon!"

"Annyeong Chae-ryung!" Woozi shouted back. Chae-ryung jumps over the fence and lands at the ground safely. She asked, "Who's that?"

"Chae-ryung..." Woozi stands next to Chae-ryung and said, "Chae-ryung, this is Grim Reaper. Grim Reaper, Chae-ryung."

"Why is he here? Is he going to hunt for your soul, Jihoon?" Chae-ryung asked. Woozi shook his head and replied, "It is about your other soul."

"Ah..." Chae-ryung said. Woozi looks at Chae-ryung and quickly looks away. He blushes on how beautiful Chae-ryung is. The world suddenly stop and only Chae-ryung can move, alongside with the Grim Reaper. Alexa overtakes her and said, "It's been a long time since we meet again, Grim Reaper."

"It's my first time seeing you," Chae-ryung replied.

Grim Reaper nods and said, "Yes. It has been a long time, Alexa. Why do you stay in this girl's body?"

"Excuse me but my name is Chae-ryung."

"I want seeking for revenge. I have to find Lua and kill her myself," Alexa replied.

"Why do you have to do so? Besides, the other soul knows about it, though." Chae-ryung walks around the Grim Reaper and her fingers are as soft as feathers. Alexa said, "She wants to eliminate the Strixes. How could I keep quiet and stay still after being immortal?"

"You're immortal?!" Chae-ryung asked. She squeals and jumps around. She stops and asked, "What? I don't understand."

"I know but not this way." Chae-ryung/Alexa chuckles and Alexa said, "You're still the same."

"500 years. Still the same. Why should I change?"

"Aish... I am so jealous. You two must date. Date. Date. Date," Chae-ryung said.

"Whatever. At least..." Chae-ryung stops in front of Grim Reaper and tip-toe a bit. She smiles and said, "Change your sense of fashion. Instead of a cloak... ah... how about like the Kdrama Goblin? I love that one."

"That is from the real owner of this body. I really agree about that," Alexa spoke out.

"Fine, fine. I change my style." Chae-ryung smiles and stands properly. Alexa said, "This girl knows about Angel Island. She constantly dreamt about it. What is it about?"

"I want to know about it! Please tell me. Please~," Chae-ryung begged.

"I'm not begging to Grim Reaper like that, Clarice." Chae-ryung pouts and huffs.

"It is me who want to know. Besides, he doesn't look scary to me."

"How am I supposed to know? I am the Grim Reaper, not an Angel." Chae-ryung nods and said, "I know."

"Besides, you and the girl's facial features, everything are the same. Very identical."

"Really?! Oh my gosh that is awesome!" Chae-ryung squealed.

"I told you 500 years ago. I will live inside a girl who looks like me in the future."

"I get it." Chae-ryung stands at her initial spot and the world unfroze. Chae-ryung blinks a few times and said, "I'll be going now. See you soon."

Chae-ryung disappears and Woozi looks in front. The Grim Reaper disappeared before the time unfroze. Woozi scratches his head and asked, "Why am I out here?"

Chapter 15

Chae-ryung walks into her house and sighs heavily. She walks to her favourite couch and sits there. Baekhyun sits at another couch and asked, "Why do you look so down?"

Chae-ryung looks at Baekhyun and shook her head. She replied, "Nothing."

"You met Grim Reaper, huh?" Chae-ryung looks behind and yelps as she saw Haebin. Haebin smiles and Chae-ryung asked, "H... how do you know?"

"She can see ghosts, goblins, angels and even Grim Reaper even without her powers," Chanyeol replied. Minho walks out from Chae-ryung's room and Chae-ryung asked, "What were you doing in my room?"

Minho walks down with a soccer ball and replied, "Looks like you're a football fan."

"I prefer archery," Chae-ryung replied. Jimin walks downstairs and said, "You've got a whole collection of bows and arrows."

Chae-ryung nods and Suga walks into the house, followed by Jin. Lay also comes in by surprise. He sits at a couch and lies down. He said, "Life is boring."

"We brought him here after he had a whole day fighting with the bullies," Jin replied. Chae-ryung looks at Lay and sits next to him. She saw Lay's right palm is bleeding and said, "That looks bad."

"Obviously because he used a knife, okay?" Suga explained. Chae-ryung stares at Lay and they made eye contact. Chae-ryung's eyes turns red and the red colour reflects at Lay's eyes. He suddenly pukes out black mist and his eyes changes into green as soon as Chae-ryung's eyes turns into green. Everyone in the room gasp and observes the black mist. The mist changes into a star-shape and then, becomes a black dragon. He remembers from the first day he met EXO until the day he was brainwashed. He blinks a few times, followed by Chae-ryung. They look up and saw the black dragon mist. The mist flies around and light comes out. The black mist changes into a red crystal ball and lands at Lay's hands. Lay asked, "Why am I here? Where am I?"

"Haebin, give me the first aid kit," Chae-ryung said. Haebin nods and walk to take the first aid kit. Chanyeol replied, "You were brainwashed by Soo Hyuk."

Lay sighs and said, "Oh. I remembered something."

"What is it?" Baekhyun replied.

"Yoo-jung wants to cheat during examinations and wants to accuse that Chae-ryung is the one who cheated during the examinations."

"W... what do you mean?" Chae-ryung asked. Haebin comes back with the first aid kit and Lay sits properly. He groans in pain and Chae-ryung asked, "Are you okay?"

Lay nods and replied, "I'm fine."

Chae-ryung cleans the wounds and wraps with a bandage. Lay said, "m̀hgòi (Thank you.)"

"m̀hsái haakhei (Don't mention it.)" Baekhyun said in awe, "Wow. You can speak Cantonese."

Chae-ryung smiles and replied, "I used to live in China. I learn Cantonese, Mandarin and Hakka."

"Daebak!" Chanyeol replied. Haebin asked, "What languages do you know?"

"Miss Go can talk English, Korean, Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hakka, Spanish and French." They all look and saw Chae-ryung's maid. Chae-ryung stands and said, "You're here."

"Mr. Chae Hyungwon's here, miss." Chae-ryung nods and said, "Let him in."

Hyungwon walks in and Chae-ryung bows. Hyungwon walks to Chae-ryung and Chae-ryung saw a briefcase Hyungwon's holding. He puts the briefcase at the table and said, "We need to talk."

"About what?" Hyungwon opens the briefcase and they all gasp. Those are red diamonds. Millions of red diamonds. Chae-ryung asked, "W... w... where do y... you get this?"

"Those are diamonds," Baekhyun said. Hyungwon shook his head and replied, "I saw Soo Hyuk and Min-jae were trying to sell this Fire Gems."

"What?" Chae-ryung asked, confused. Jin said, "The Fire Gems are Alpha's main energy. These gems will transform into liquid and goes into the bloodstream. The power will only be activated if the Strix's blood's inside the bloodstream as well, or, it also can be activated when the amount of power is more than enough."

"Glad I took the briefcase and ran away with it," Hyungwon said.

"So... what does that mean?"

"Yoo-jung can rule the school and the whole world," Suga replied. Chae-ryung asked, "How about the Strix? Does this have any effect on me?"

"You. Can. Die. If. You. Take. This," Chanyeol replied.

"Then why you bring this to me?"

"You can use this if you can change this Fire Gems into Ice Gems. Then, it can be harmful to Alphas."

Chae-ryung nods and Hyungwon closes the briefcase. He said, "I'll keep it."

"Thanks," Chae-ryung replied. Chae-ryung's phone rings and she answers the call. She said, "Moshi moshi (Hello.)"

"Watashi wa anata o ima, misushōofu. (I got you now, Miss Show-off.)" Chae-ryung stands and she is mad. It is her ex-boyfriend. She asked, "Nandeshou? (What do you want?)"

"Watashi wa anata ga shinu koto o nozomimasu. Sore wa mondaidesu ka? Matawa... Anata wa kowaidesu ka? (I want you to die. Is that a problem? Or... you are scared?)"

"Your Japanese is bad."

"Do I care?"

"Nǐ néng bùnéng zài dǎ diànhuà gěi wǒ? (Can you just don't call me again?)"

"Wǒ bùnéng wàngjì nǐ. Huí dào wǒ shēnbiān. (I can't forget you. Come back to me.)"

"Over my dead body." Chae-ryung ends the call and said, "He wants to die for real."

"Who?" Haebin asked.

"No one." Chae-ryung walks upstairs and Taemin walks in with Jonghyun. Jonghyun said, "They are fighting next door."

Chapter 16

"Who are fighting next door?" Chae-ryung asked. Taemin replied, "Seventeen."

"What?" Chae-ryung is shocked. She storms out and the others follow her. Chae-ryung jumps above the fence and stomps to the door. She knocks the door rapidly and shouts, "OPEN THIS DOOR!"

Sounds of glass shattering and furniture being moved or something can be heard. Chae-ryung walk backwards, before running and kicks the door down. She transforms into a werewolf and runs to Woozi. She bumps into Seungkwan with force, causing him to fall. She stands in front of Woozi and DK and growls as the other Seventeen members approach them. She howls and said, "Fight me if you dare."

"You are no match for us," S. Coups said. Looks like Seventeen is being possessed and brainwashed. Woozi said, "It's dangerous, Chae-ryung."

Chae-ryung growls as Jun steps closer. She bites his hand and Woozi takes a baseball bat. They fight and Woozi hits them hard. DK runs out from the house and go to Chae-ryung's house. Chae-ryung uses her claws and slashes Vernon's hand. She bites and kicks them, even though she doesn't want to. Woozi gets on Chae-ryung and they leave the house. They run back to Chae-ryung's yard and stops. Woozi gets off from Chae-ryung and Hyungwon asked, "What happened?"

"Seventeen has been brainwashed by Soo Hyuk and was given orders to kill me, Chae-ryung and the other Strixes. DK, are you alright?" DK nods and Chae-ryung changes back to normal. She takes out a blade and cuts DK's sleeve. She sighs and said, "We need to go to the hospital."

"It is not that deep," DK replied. Niel arrives and said, "We have to go."

"Why?" Woozi asked.

"Run. Soo Hyuk..." The other friends freeze for a moment before their eyes light up in red. They get ready their fists and Haebin said, "We have to go now."

Chae-ryung takes out a sword she managed to take and aims it in front. She said, "Woozi, bring our friends somewhere safe."

Woozi nods and guides DK, Haebin and Chanyeol away form Chae-ryung's house. Chae-ryung steps back and said, "Don't make me kill you."

"Oh, you won't," Baekhyun said. Possessed Baekhyun said. Chae-ryung uses her witch powers to turn them back to normal. Her eyes suddenly becomes watery and said, "This stings."

Chae-ryung said, "Pagóste ta kaká stratiótes! (Freeze the evil soldiers!)" Her friends becomes frozen and Chae-ryung sprints out from her house. She turns into a real witch and flies to the hiding spot Woozi choose. She lands somewhere in the middle of the forests and said, "Vreíte tous fílous mou pou eínai krymména se aftó to dásos. (Find my friends who are hidden in this woods.)"

Candlestick shapes starts to light up in bright green at some particular trees. The trees create a beautiful arch and the muddy pathway turns into solid gold. Chae-ryung follows the pathway that leads to her friends. She walks and as she walks, the temperature starts to get cooler. The green grass gradually turns into grey before turning to pitch black. Chae-ryung takes out her wand and said, "Lámpsei tóso foteinó óso o ílios lámpei ti Gi. (Shine as bright as the Sun shines the Earth.)"

Chae-ryung's gem in the wand emits bright yellow light, allowing her to see. Chae-ryung continues walking and asked, "Why the day suddenly becomes too cold?"

Sounds of tigers roaring can be heard. Chae-ryung turns around to see who is following her. She continues walking and not long, she starts to cough. She pats her chest, forcing something out. White mist comes out and Chae-ryung stares at it. She stands and the mist transforms into Alexa wearing a white strapless dress and a translucent jacket. Alexa smiles and said, "I am Alexa."

Chae-ryung's mouth hangs in shock. She said, "We... we do look the same."

Alexa nods and chuckles. She looks around and saw the surrounding. It is like nighttime. Alexa said, "We don't have much time. We must defeat Lua."

"But how?" Chae-ryung asked. Alexa replied, "Your mind knows how to do it. Not just your mind, your heart and your genetics."

Chae-ryung nods and they walk through the dark forest. It looks creepier than usual. Chae-ryung asked, "Who did this?"

"Yoo-jung and Soo Hyuk. Do you want to know something?" Chae-ryung looks at Alexa and Alexa sighs. She said, "Lua will kill Yoo-jung at the end. She will kill her as soon as everything's become as what she expected. She is greedy for power."

"That means... she is powerful?" Alexa nods. She said, "Yoo-jung is merely a tool. Soo Hyuk too. Soo Hyuk's Yoo-jung's tool and Yoo-jung's Lua's tool."

"Even Min-jae that hacker who doesn't keep his eyes off Haebin everytime we passed by?"

"He was killed." Chae-ryung's eyes widened and asked, "H... h... how?"

"It's my duty to take his life because it is written in this scroll." Chae-ryung and Alexa look behind and Alexa runs before hugging Grim Reaper. Chae-ryung smiles and secretly snaps a photo. Alexa said, "I was finding you the whole time!"

"No, you didn't," Chae-ryung interrupted. Alexa glares at Chae-ryung and Chae-ryung looks away and said, "Sorry to disturb the upgoing romance."

"She is like you," Grim Reaper said. Alexa nods and Chae-ryung asked, "Are you two lovebirds done?"

"How about you and your Lee Jihoon? Huh, Huh, Huh?" Chae-ryung quickly looks away, covering her now red cheeks. She said, "D... don't say about that~."

"Exactly like you," Grim Reaper replied. Alexa punches Grim Reaper's shoulder and said, "She is just a kid."

"What are you talking about? We're not talking about how we ended up..." Alexa covers Grim Reaper's mouth and said, "We should find your friends."

Meanwhile, Woozi and the others are safe in a cave. They all clean everything and make it a suitable place to stay for a moment. Woozi asked, "Where's Chae-ryung?"

"She should be here by now," Haebin replied. Niel asked, "Why does Soo Hyuk and Yoo-jung wants to make this place dark forever?"

"Molla," Chanyeol replied. DK lies down and rests his head at Woozi's lap. Woozi takes a blanket and puts it on top of DK. DK sheds a tear and said, "I miss Hoshi..."

"There, there. Don't cry, Dokyeom," Woozi comforted DK. Chanyeol said, "This is bad."

"How can Yoo-jung control everyone just like that?"

"Memory editor." They all look and saw Chae-ryung, Alexa and Grim Reaper. Chae-ryung walks to Woozi and hugs him. Woozi pats Chae-ryung's back and Alexa said, "So cute."

Chae-ryung breaks the hug and wipes her tears. She sits, followed by Alexa and Grim Reaper. Woozi asked, "What do you mean, memory editor?"

"Yoo-jung uses her most ultimate advantage. She control everyone's brains and changes their memory at 0.000000001 second. This effect, however, is weak to Strixes," Alexa replied.

"We have to put a stop on this, or else war is coming," Woozi said.

Chapter 17

"Finally, they are under my control," Yoo-jung said in a victorious tone. Soo Hyuk nods and replied, "Now, we just need to get Strixes and kill them."

Yoo-jung nods and said, "Min-jae is useless."

"I know. That's why he got killed." Yoo-jung sits at a chair and watches at the crystal ball. She said, "Show me where are the Strixes."

The crystal ball then shows the location where Chae-ryung is. She smirks and said, "Send them to capture Chae-ryung and her friends."

Soo Hyuk nods and disappears. Yoo-jung looks in front and said, "So sad that you angels are captured."

The angels are struggling to get themselves free. One of them said, "You let us go! DOn't you dare lay a finger to Her Highness!"

Yoo-jung stands and slams her hands at the table. She shouts, "SHE IS NO HIGHNESS!"

Yoo-jung breathes heavily and said, "I will kill them and become the new ruler. I'll make sure of that."

"You rotten witch!" The other angel shouted. Yoo-jung sighs and said, "I am no rotten witch. I am a POWERFUL SORCERESS!"

Yoo-jung aims her wand at the angels and said, "Kleidóste tous angélous me tis alysídes tou skótous. (Lock the angels with chains of darkness.)"

A black light emits and shoots right at the angels. The angels scream and they've tied up with black chains. Black magic chains. Yoo-jung laughs evilly and said, "I heard angels will die if there is darkness. So, no more angels and devils will rise. Don't you like that?"

"You will never be in heaven!" Yoo-jung laughs and lights up a candlelight. She said, "I should burn this school down."

"Are you crazy?!" Yoo-jung nods and drops the candlelight. The candle flame hits the curtains and the curtains starts to burn. Yo-jung laughs and said, "Good luck." Yoo-jung disappears and the angels are struggling to be free. Who will help them?

Chae-ryung and the others are getting ready. Alexa said, "They're coming."

"What?!" Woozi said, "We have to go now."

"Chae-ryung, use the invisibility spell," Niel said. Chae-ryung's eyes widened and said, "I don't know the spell!"

Woozi holds Chae-ryung's hands and asked, "Why are you so passive? You should be confident about this! You are confident when you are with people but you become small when you want to save your friends with magic! What's got into you? Huh?! Then how come the words come out from your mouth? How do you know the hardest spell?"

Chae-ryung keeps quiet. She looks down and drops her wand. She sighs and said, "I can't do it. I want to do it but I don't have the courage to do so."

"Chae-ryung..." Haebin looks at Chae-ryung with soft eyes. She said, "Believe in yourself. That is the main key."

DK nods and so as Niel. Chanyeol nods and Alexa give a thumbs up. Grim Reaper mouths the word "Fighting" and Woozi smiles. Chae-ryung sits at the ground and takes her wand. She breathes in and said, "I can do this."

Woozi asked, "Do you know the spell?"

Chae-ryung shook her head. Woozi holds Chae-ryung's wand and said, "Follow my words. Okay?"

Chae-ryung nods. Woozi said, "Afáneia kai teleport se Gold Wing High. (Invisibility and teleport to Gold Wing High.)"

Chae-ryung looks at Woozi and smiles. She sighs and said, "Afáneia kai teleport se Gold Wing High. (Invisibility and teleport to Gold Wing High.)" Blue light emits from Chae-ryung's wand gem and bright lights shines the cave.

At the same time, Soo Hyuk and his helpers are riding giant killer phoenixes. They saw the bright line shining as bright as the Sun and Soo Hyuk said, "Attack them."

They fly closer to the spot and Soo Hyuk's killer phoenix breathes out ice, causing the surroundings to become as cold as ice. The other phoenixes breathe out different powers. The cave becomes cold and they land at the ground. Soo Hyuk looks around and realised that there is no one there. He said, "Aish! I lost them."

Chae-ryung and the others arrive at the school. Chae-ryung said, "I did it."

Woozi nods and Alexa said, "Let's catch Yoo-jung."

"You'll never catch me." They all look behind and saw Yoo-jung. Yoo-jung smiles and laughs evilly. She said, "Rise the cage of Darkness!"

Chae-ryung points her wand and said, "Rise the shield of Light!"

Two powers hit each other and it is a massive war. Chae-ryung and Yoo-jung are holding on their powers and Yoo-jung makes sure that Chae-ryung will fall. She said, "Fire Gems, activate!"

Yoo-jung's power changes into red and the flow hits Chae-ryung. Chae-ryung screams in pain as it hit her arm, causing her to fall. She starts to become weak and she shouts, "You are a real living witch!"

Chae-ryung strikes again and Yoo-jung seems unaffected by it. Yoo-jung aims at Chae-ryung and Chae-ryung flies to the wall. She hits the wall and falls to the ground. Woozi catches her and Chae-ryung said, "She's too strong."

"We have to fight. You can do it." Chae-ryung nods and faces Yoo-jung. Yoojung said to the possessed students, "Arrest them."

Chapter 18

Chae-ryung holds her wand and aims it at possessed Hyungwon. She steps back and said, "Don't make me do this to you. We are friends, remember?"

"Friends? Over my dead body." Chae-ryung enrages and shouts, "Anaíresi tis kakó xórki!! (UNDO THE EVIL SPELL!!)"

Purple light shines from the gem and the gem enits lightning to the possessed students. The lightning spreads to the whole school and a loud storm can be heard. Woozi looks and saw that the spell can have a bad effect on the caster itself. He runs to Chae-ryung and snatches the wand. He hugs Chae-ryung and current seeps into Woozi's bloodstream. The storm is cooled down and Chae-ryung looks at Woozi. Woozi sighs and Chae-ryung saw the differences. She said, "You're dying."

Woozi shook his head and said, "I am not, Chae-ryung. You're still weak and young. You don't know how to control this spell. It just went inside me to purify it."

Chae-ryung looks at Hyungwon and Woozi kicks him. He said, "We have to run."

They run along with DK, Haebin, Niel and Chanyeol. Alexa and Grim Reaper are waiting for them at the roof and Niel said as they reach the tall wall, "We have to climb."

They all look at each other and nod. They lift up Haebin and Haebin grabs Alexa's hands. Alexa pulls her up and Chae-ryung is drag by Yoo-jung. Woozi's eyes widened and said, "PPALI!"

Chae-ryung aims her wand at Yoo-jung and said, "Dilitírio págo gia chília chrónia! (Poison ice for a thousand years!)"

Blue frost shoots at Yoo-jung's wand. Yoo-jung shrieks and let go of her wand. The wand falls and breaks into million pieces. Chae-ryung stands and changes into a werewolf. She runs to Yoo-jung with full speed and Yoo-jung avoids Chae-ryung's attack.

Yoo-jung laughs and Chae-ryung runs before jumping to get to Yoo-jung. Yoo-jung said, "Petóntas ta machaíria tis ekdíkisis! (Flying knives of revenge!)"

Lots of knives appear and they move towards Chae-ryung. Woozi runs towards Chae-ryung and said the spell, "Butterfly effect!"

The knives changes into colourful butterflies. Chae-ryung breathes heavily and Woozi looks at her. He asked, "Gwaenchanhayo?"

Chae-ryung nods. Woozi breaks the hug and holds Chae-ryung's hand. He stands in front of her and shouts, "Stop doing this Yoo-jung!"

Yoo-jung laughs and asked, "Why should I stop? Oh... is it because that you want a happy ending with her, right?!"

"Ani! You've caused a lot of trouble! Soo Hyuk too! What is it that you are not satisfied? Making everyone into the worst of the worst?! Killing people?!"

"Why?" Yoo-jung walks to Woozi and strokes his cheek. Woozi tightens his grip on Chae-ryung's wrist and said, "You are crazy."

Yoo-jung stops walking before nodding. She looks at both of them and replied, "Yes. I am crazy."

"Yoo-jung!" Soo Hyuk walks towards Yoo-jung and looks like gugudan members are dragging the others. Haebin struggles to let herself go and they all been pushed to the floor, causing them to kneel by force. Yoo-jung looks behind and smirks before aiming her staff at Haebin's throat. She said, "Haebin will die if you will not surrender."

Woozi is mad and Chae-ryung said, "I rather die than watching anyone die!"

Woozi gasps and Yoo-jung exchanges target. Haebin is been replaced with Chae-ryung. Woozi said, "Chae-ryung, don't do this."

Chae-ryung shook her head and replied, "I am useless. I can't do anything. I can't even..."

"GO CHAE-RYUNG YOU CAN DO IT!!" Chae-ryung looks down and seeps her hand at her pocket. She said, "Kill me, Yoo-jung."

"Get back to your sense Chae-ryung!" DK yelled. Yoo-jung laughs and said the death spell. Chae-ryung quickly throws dust at Yoo-jung's eyes, causing her to shriek in pain. Chae-ryung stands and chants out the reverse spell with her wand at her hand, "The power deep in the forest,  skies and seas, reverse every spell casted by the Alpha!"

White light shines from the gem and a giant storm is made. Every spell made by Yoo-jung starts to fade and the possessed ones finally come back to reality. The chains that trapped the angels disappear and the angels cheer before vanishing in thin air. The spells gather into a giant sphere and bursts into the sky. The storm disappears and Chanyeol said, "You did it."

Chae-ryung looks at Woozi and Woozi nods. They all hug each other and a strong lightning zaps at the ground, causing everyone to fall due to the gigantic force. Chae-ryung and Woozi look and Seo-jun runs to them with Mi-ran. Mi-ran said, "I'm scared."

They saw a girl wearing everything black and red, her hair flows like fire and the look of her eyes can pierce inside anyone's eyes. She is frustrated and angry. Alexa stands and walks towards the girl. She said, "It's been a long time since I saw you, Lua."

"So am I for you." Alexa observes Lua's appearance from head to toe. She said, "You look different now."

"Well, wearing a shirt and pants isn't my style now. Besides, I love my new look now." Alexa said, "Stop this, Lua. You caused a lot of chaos."

Lua laughs and disappears. She reappears behind Alexa and aims a knife at Alexa's throat. She said, "I will never stop. Ah... you can't use your powers anymore."

Lua looks at CHae-ryung and smirks. She said, "I want your daughter to fight with me."

"NO! I WON'T ALLOW THAT!" Grim Reaper enraged and Lua laughs. She enjoys on how people getting mad. The knife is so close to Alexa's throat and Lua asked, "So, do you want her to fight with me or you want to die?"

Woozi said to Chae-ryung, "Don't worry. You can do it."

Alexa sighs and said, "Fine. Chae-ryung will fight with you." Alexa looks at Chae-ryung and said, "I believe in you, Clarice."

Chae-ryung stands and Lua let Alexa go. Alexa walks to Chae-ryung and puts a blue butterfly necklace at Chae-ryung's neck. She said, "This necklace will protect you. Use those skills well, Chae-ryung."

Chae-ryung nods and Lua's men drag everyone to the side. A giant dome is formed, just like a cage for Lua and Chae-ryung's ultimate battle. Chae-ryung holds her wand firmly and Lua is confident about her skills. "ONE, TWO, FIGHT!"

Chapter 19

"ONE, TWO, FIGHT!"

Lua disappears all of a sudden. Chae-ryung looks around and holds her wand firmly. She said, "Show yourself, witch."

Echoes can be heard everywhere. Chae-ryung feels the cold air like everywhere. She shouts, "SHOW YOURSELF COWARD!"

As Chae-ryung is trying to find where is Lua, Lua reappears behind her and throws a poisonous needle at Chae-ryung's arm. Chae-ryung flinches and turns back. She throws a blade at Lua's arm but Lua avoids it. Chae-ryung's right hand weakens and she holds her wand with her left hand. She said, "You are playing dirty."

"I told you. There is no rules in this game. Who remains alive wins the game." Chae-ryung chants a spell, "Venus's atmosphere."

The air in the dome increases in temperature. Lua laughs and said, "So lame. You don't even know my weakness. In addition, you just make me more powerful instead."

"I don't know you. I did not know your weakness and strength. I am an amateur. I am no lifesaver."

The poison reaches at Chae-ryung's heart, causing her to collapse. She holds herself and Lua said, "Give up, child. There is no point on fighting the poison."

Chae-ryung feels the pain in her chest and her body trembles. What she didn't know is that the poison in her bloodstream slowly changes into strings of thin flames and ice, which is the main strength for Strixes. Why? The necklace does the job. Chae-ryung tries to stand but keeps falling. Lua just watch Chae-ryung suffering to death.

Chae-ryung asked in a weak tone, "Why did you do this? What do you get for doing this?"

Lua walks and she steps on Chae-ryung's right hand. Chae-ryung winces in pain and Lua replied, "You ask me why? You've read it before."

"Just to get revenge? Or to rule the world?" Lua applies the pressure at Chae-ryung's hand and replied, "Both."

"Chae-ryung is dying," Hoshi said. Woozi covers his eyes since the beginning and Jun asked, "Are you afraid?"

"I can't see her die," Woozi said while sobbing. Jeonghan hugs Woozi and said, "Remember what you said. Believe in yourself. Now, we all have to believe in Chae-ryung. She'll find a way."

"She won't die. The necklace will protect her," Grim Reaper said. Woozi looks at him and Dino asked, "But how?"

Chae-ryung groans in pain and said, "Stop it."

Lua roll her eyes and moves her foot away. Chae-ryung slowly stands and her iris changes into bright red. It is moving in a rush motion and Luais taken back by that. She steps back and asked, "H... h... how... aren't you supposed t... to..."

"You stuttered too much," Chae-ryung said boredly. She aims her wand at Lua's head and said, "If you make a move, you'll die."

Lua scoffs and said, "That little threat of yours won't affect me."

"Well... we change the game. One versus three. You can choose two people to fight with me." Woozi stands and shouts, "NEO MICHYEOSS-EO?! (ARE YOU CRAZY?!)"

Alexa holds Woozi's wrist and said, "She is doing the right thing."

Woozi looks at Alexa with teary eyes and said, "The right thing? The right thing you say?! You know how much she suffered and now you're saying that she is doing the right thing?!"

Alexa sighs and looks at Woozi. She replied, "I know. For others, it is crazy. For her, it is the right thing. Give her a chance."

Woozi clench his teeth and said, "I'm not letting her die alone in there. I'm going in."

Woozi walks in before the others can stop him. Lua, Yoo-jung and Soo Hyuk are so confident about their abilities. Chae-ryung is determined that she can do it. Woozi said, "You're not doing this alone."

Chae-ryung looks at Woozi and Woozi stands next to her. He takes out his wand and said, "Game change. Two versus three."

Then, the Wicked Witch appears. Lua smirks and replied, "Oh... looks like two versus FOUR!"

The two look at each other and nod. The death bell rings and Woozi said, "Eternal shield!"

A transparent shield forms in front of the two and Chae-ryung chants the storm spell. Woozi is holding on the shield as their enemies are attacking more. Chae-ryung asked, "How should I stop them?"

Woozi replied, "Chant the previous spell. Do it as hard as possible. If you die, I will beg Seungcheol hyung to save you."

"What?! But..." Woozi shouts, "DON'T BE PASSIVE! EVERYTHING LIES ON YOUR HANDS!"

Chae-ryung's eyes widened and breathes a few times. She gathers all of her courage and Woozi holds her hand. He looks at Chae-ryung and said, "I am here. Okay? Do it."

"Anaíresi tis kakó xórki! (Undo the evil spell!)" Chae-ryung holds her wand with two hands and the storm happens. The giant dome is cracking and Woozi dechants the shielding spell. He aims his tip of the wand at Chae-ryung's wand gem and said, "Activate the curse of Royale's Will."

Purple gem from Chae-ryung's wand shines in royal blue colour. The magic flows into Chae-ryung's gem and a giant lightning bolt zaps to the four opponents. They are refraining the spell and Chae-ryung chants the forbidden spell. Woozi hears that and said, "Don't!"

Chapter 20 (Finale)

"Don't!"

Ribbons come out form the gem and moves to them. The ribbons choke them and another ribbon moves around Chae-ryung. Woozi takes out a pair of scissors and cuts the ribbon. The ribbon falls to the ground and Chae-ryung's energy is finished. A thin ribbon was inside her heart and it blocks the flow of blood completely. She falls to the ground and Woozi catches her. Lua and her allies are struggling to get themselves free from the ribbons and the dome bursts into feathers. Woozi holds Chae-ryung firmly and Chae-ryung looks dead. Woozi said, "Wake up, Chae-ryung."

Chae-ryung isn't responding. Seventeen runs to them and Seo-jun checks Chae-ryung's pulse. He looks down and sighs heavily. Alexa disappears and her soul goes into Chae-ryung's body. Mi-ran said, "No! My chingu's gone. No!!"

Mi-ran cries and Seo-jun pats her back. Haebin is in disbelief and kneels to the floor. The others are sad about the lost and Woozi hugs Chae-ryung. He cries badly and S. Coups said, "It can't be healed."

"She killed herself by chanting the forbidden spell," Sejeong said.

"Why?! Why did she do this?!" Woozi hides his face at Chae-ryung's neck and Grim Reaper saw Chae-ryung's skin is glowing. He blinks a few times and Alexa reappears. She said, "This ribbon nearly killed her."

"Phyton's ribbon," Grim Reaper corrected her. Chae-ryung open her eyes and saw Woozi is crying. She touches his face and Woozi looks at her. He blinks and Chae-ryung said, "I am still alive, pabo."

Woozi smiles and brings her for a hug. He cries and said, "I've thought that I lost you. You know how much I love you, Chae-ryung ah..."

Chae-ryung sheds a tear and pats Woozi's back. She nods and replied, "I know that."

"Aye, you two forgot us?" They break the hug and the friends smile. Chae-ryung said, "Let's all join the hug."

Haebin hugs Chae-ryung and Woozi, followed by Seo-jun, Mi-ran and the others. Not long, a bright light emits at Chae-ryung's chest. Everyone move away and Chae-ryung wonders why. The light shines bright and surrounds her. Alexa is curious about it, too. Grim Reaper smiles and said, "She got it."

"Got what?" Alexa asked. Seungkwan asked, "What did she get?"

"You still need to learn about it, Alexa," Grim Reaper said. He continued, "I am proud of her."

Chae-ryung floats in the air and her clothes changed. She now wears a blue-purplish dress which the skirt reaches to her ankles, while the sleeves are long until the wrist, a silver necklace with a blue teardrop jewelry, a pair of pink butterfly earrings and a beautiful tiara with red colour gems, rests on her now blonde colour hair. They saw it and are in awe, especially Woozi himself.

Chae-ryung lands on the ground safely and the light disappears. She looks at her new look and Woozi walk towards her. He stops and bows, which Chae-ryung is surprised. The others also bows and Chae-ryung sits on the same level as Woozi. She asked, "Why are you bowing at me?"

"You defeated the Alpha. You defeated Yoo-jung. You've stopped the stereotypes in this school and also the curse. You've break the curse, Your Highness," Woozi replied. Chae-ryung's eyes widened and replied, "You helped me. Why am I... why do you call me Your Highness? I am no princess or any royalty."

"You are a royalty, Clarice." Chae-ryung looks and stands. She asked, "What do you mean, Alexa?"

Alexa looks down and said, "Grim, tell her."

Grim Reaper walks to Chae-ryung and hugs her. He sheds a tear and said, "Congratulations, my daughter. You've done the right thing the whole time."

"W... what?" Grim Reaper faces Chae-ryung and smiles. He said, "Your mother lived inside you the whole time just to protect you, my precious baby girl."

"But..."

"Your foster family knew about this from the beginning. So, they tool care of you and at the same time, your mother watches you while controlling your actions."

"So this whole time, I lived with my foster family?!" Alexa nods and Chae-ryung looks at Soo Hyuk and Yoo-jung. She approaches them and asked, "Why did you two want this whole fight? What is your motive?"

"I work under Yoo-jung. You ask her and some was my fault. I am sorry," Soo Hyuk replied. Chae-ryung looks at Yoo-jung and Yoo-jung replied, "I... It was all this spirit's fault! I don't want to do it but she controlled me. She promised me to make me the Queen and this happens..."

Yoo-jung cries and Chae-ryung cuts the ribbons that are tied on Yoo-jung's body. She hugs her and said, "I'm sorry for involving in your life, Yoo-jung. I never had any revenge towards you. It's just that I am immature. I deeply apologise."

"No. It's my fault to cause this thing. I have to take responsibility for this. I am sorry, Your..."

"Just Chae-ryung. That's way more comfortable than that." They break the hug and Yoo-jung asked, "You forgave me?"

"Why wouldn't I? Well, there is something I have to do." Chae-ryung takes out her wand and said, "In the power of the five elements exists in this world, Lua and Wicked Witch shall be banished out from this world, forever."

"No! I'll get you one day. One day," Lua shouted and disappears along with the Wicked Witch. Chae-ryung cuts the ribbon around Soo Hyuk and stands. She helps Yoo-jung up and Woozi said, "Chae-ryung ah..."

Chae-ryung looks behind and asked, "Yes?" Woozi walks to her and holds her hand. The awkward situation fills up between the two and Woozi asked, "Um... there's something I have to tell you."

"Tell about what?" Chae-ryung asked, curious. Woozi replied, "Will you marry me? Will you be on my side till eternity? Will you always love me even though we are different?"

"So, what did she answered, teacher?" Ha-joon asked Chae-ryung. Chae-ryung smiles and replied, "She replied..."

Chae-ryung smiles and replied, "Yes." Woozi's eyes widened and cheers. He hugs her and said, "She said yes!" "YAHOO!" Everyone cheered and hug each other. Mi-ran and Haebin cry in happiness and Seo-jun joins them. Grim Reaper and Alexa are happy and Alexa said, "Looks like we have to plan it soon."

Grim Reaper nods and replied, "She met her lifetime soulmate after all."

"So, they get married and a few years later, they had beautiful twins. They are happy with their new lives and their friends visit them often, strengthen the bond of friendship. They watch the sunset and live happily ever after," Chae-ryung ends the story and the children clap. Minsu said, "That is an amazing story, teacher."

"We want to hear another one!" Sun-ah said. The bell rings and Chae-ryung stands. She said, "Maybe next time, students."

The students take their bags and said in an exciting way, "Thank you teacher!"

They run out and Chae-ryung smiles. She walks out from the classroom and her phone rings. She takes her phone and answers the call. She said, "Jagiya, I just finished school. What do you want me to cook?"

Woozi thinks for a while in his practice room at Pledis. He replied, "Anything. I'll come home after I finished composing."

"Okay. See you soon." Woozi smiles and ends the call. Jun said, "Looks like you're way happier than usual after you married Chae-ryung."

"Aish... are you jealous?" Woozi asked. Jun nods and replied, "So jealous~."

"Well, we all can hang out someday. As a big family. Okay?" Dino shouts, "BRING LOTS OF FOOD!"

"Okie dokie!" Seventeen members cheer and - "Appa! Let's go!" Woozi looks and saw his adorable twins, Dahee and Dami. He stands and carries both of them up, and squeals can be heard. Woozi said, "I'll go back first."

"Okay~," everyone replied. Woozi walks out and the last thing is... "Annyeong!"
